Your Agreement is with Shark Designs.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a purchase with us.

Once a purchase has been accepted in writing by Shark Designs the persons named on the order form ("the client") will have entered a binding contract on the basis of these Terms & Conditions.

"Shark Designs" means "Shark-Tinderbox", "Shark-Greenwear", "Shark-UK”, “Shark-Bushcraft”, “Bushcraft, Fire & Steel”, “Mark Hordon” and any other name that becomes an associate of 'Shark Designs', 56 Gassons Road, Snodland, Kent, ME6 5RW.

Delivery

It is our aim to provide you with a quick and reliable delivery service.

From the placing of your order we aim to have your parcel to you within 2 -14 working days (not including Saturday or Sunday or National holidays and not unless otherwise stated). We will notify you via email of any unfortunate delays.

UK postal services usually make deliveries from Monday to Friday, which may also include Saturdays (this may vary in certain areas), NO deliveries are made on Sundays.

All deliveries will be shipped either by Royal Mail/Parcel Force or a selected Currier Service of our choice, unless otherwise stated and agreed.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery or cancel orders if full details are not given with any order.

Proof of postage is ALWAYS obtained from the Post Office; we always post your goods when we say we have.  Shark Designs can accept no responsibility for items that become lost in the post.  Should an item become lost in the post, we, at Shark Designs, will do our upmost to help customers recover the lost goods and or compensation.

If your parcel or package was damaged or pilfered whilst in transit you should retain the carton or packaging and its contents intact. You are advised to contact the delivery carrier for further instruction; we would also like to hear from you, so that we can assist you as best as we can.  Please note, Shark Designs cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage due to Theft or Pilfering whilst items are in transit.

Returns Policy

In the unlikely event of you wishing to return an item to us, please ensure that you send items back via Recorded Delivery.  This will ensure that you have proof of postage and can also obtain proof of delivery.

All unwanted goods and items shall be returned to Shark Designed, 56 Gassons Road, Snodland, Kent, ME6 5RW at the purchaser’s own expense. No ‘Postage and Packing’ costs, of any kind, will be included in the refund price of the returned good/s or item/s.

At our digression there will be a 10% handling charge on all refunds given.

Items that go missing in the post will not be considered to have been returned to Shark Designs.  Safe delivery of returned goods is the full responsibility of the sender, and any such lost items will need to be claimed for by the sender.  Shark Designs will take no responsibility, what so ever, for items that go missing whilst in transit.  For this reason we advise that all returning items are given full postal insurance.

Please note that all items returns should be posted to our main address - as shown above and on our Contact Us page. A full refund or exchange will be given provided that the items have not been worn or used and returned to us within 14 days of purchase, together with all relative labels and packaging. Please also enclose a copy of your invoice together with details as to why you are returning your order and how you wish to have the matter resolved.

Items with defects of material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at our digression.  If the item is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty we will forward it to manufacturer for their repair or replacement. (This does not affect your statutory rights).

By law, sleeping bags that have been used cannot be returned for credit. Please make sure that any sleeping bag is correct for you before you use it.

Bespoke Goods Returns Policy

Please be aware, all good and items that are ‘Handmade To Order', ‘Made to Order’, ‘Tailor Made’, ‘Tailor made to the individual’ ‘Bespoke’ or any other term that indicates that an item has been specifically, or specially, made for the purchaser is hereby known as ‘Bespoke’ and cannot be returned to us for a refund. (Please see ‘Distance Selling Act’ for your statutory rights).

Customers should always check with us before placing an order. If you are unsure about any item you wish to purchase from us, please Email or phone 01634 241 049 with your enquiry.

We reserve the right to offer a refund up to the total full value of the item purchased.

Any refunds offered will not include any ‘Postage and Packing’ cost that have been incurred by either party.

Please ‘Contact Us’ before returning any ‘Bespoke’ goods or items.

Should any 'Bespoke' goods, or items, be returned to us without prior agreement in writing (i.e. by email or Letter) it will be the purchasers full responsibility to make arrangements to have any such 'Bespoke' goods, or items, returned to them at their own expense. We will attempt to contact you via email upon receipt of any unsolicited returned ‘Bespoke’ goods, or items, with our intent.

Unsolicited returned 'Bespoke' goods, or item, left unclaimed for more than 90-days shall be considered as abandoned by the purchaser and become the property of Shark Designs.

Courtesy and politeness

Please note, we have a Zero Tolerance Policy against rude or offensive behaviour.  Rude of offensive communications, by any means, will not be dealt with by any member of the Shark Designs team.

We are here to help customers resolve any issues that they may have with their purchase, and for our part, will always be polite and courteous, and will endeavour to be as helpful and understanding as we can possibly be. Please contact us with this is mind, because we will do our upmost to leave all customers with a feeling of customer satisfaction.

Incorrect Item

We would advise that you Contact Us directly before returning any items.  Incorrect items that have been used or removed from their packets will not be refunded.

What if I don’t like the goods once I have received them?

Should this be the case please return them to us for credit, note however that we will charge a 10% handling fee for all such returns and you will be solely responsible for the postal costs of returning the parcel to us. All such items must not have been used or removed from their packets, if a refund is required.

Repairs for goods out of Warranty

We are happy to arrange for repairs, where possible, for any kit that is in need of repair, however, we will not accept or process, accept or handle any soiled or unhygienic clothing, equipment or footwear.  Customers are advised to have such items, (i.e. goods in need of repair, but are outside of their warranty), professionally cleaned before delivery to us.

Soiled or unhygienic items will be returned to the customer upon receipt of payment for the return postage; we will contact you should we feel that this is necessary.

Customers are advised that items that have not been either collected, or we have not receive postal payment for return of soiled or unhygienic goods, within one calendar month of notification, will be considered to have been abandoned, such items will be disposed of or sent to a charity shop at our digression. Such items will not be stored in our premises and will, therefore, be subject to weather and acts of god.  Shark designs will also not accept any responsibility for the subsequent loss or damage to such items.

Auction Website Listing

Any kit items purchased from Shark Designs may be resold on auction websites, such as EBay. Please ensure that all trademarks are respected. The use of our trademarks ("Mark Hordon", "Shark Designs" and “Bushcraft, Fire and Steel”) is prohibited for items that are not associated with our company.

Shark Designs Gift Voucher

Shark Designs (Pay Pal) e-vouchers (electronic vouchers) are unique codes that can be used in the Shark Designs online shop against the purchase of kit items.

Vouchers are registered in the sole name of the purchaser (the "voucher owner") and can transferred to a third party e.g. as a gift. It is the responsibility of the voucher owner to protect the voucher code(s), and not to divulge them to any third party that isn't the intended recipient of the voucher.

Shark Designs cannot be held responsible for voucher codes that fall into the wrong hands, or which are used without the voucher holders’ prior consent.

Voucher codes are sent by electronic mail (e-mail) to the address specified in our secure checkout page. Shark Designs takes no responsibility for incorrectly specified e-mail addresses that are given at the time of purchase. Shark Designs (Pay Pal) e-vouchers are transferable to a third party at the discretion of the voucher owner, and voucher holder details can be changed online at any time by the owner e.g. for the purposes of a printed version of the voucher.

Once a voucher code is transferred to a third party, and is subsequently used, Shark Designs cannot then undo a transaction in which that voucher was used. Revealing a code to a third party constitutes "transfer" of that voucher by the owner.

Changes to this agreement

Shark Designs reserves the right to update the Terms & Conditions at any time, without notice.

The Bushcraft Show Terms & Conditions

Your Agreement is with SO Publications Ltd and not with Shark Designs who are an official Sponsor and representative of the Bushcraft Show.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing a Bushcraft Show 2012 Advanced Booking Ticket(s) from us.

By purchasing any of The Bushcraft Show 2012 Advanced Booking Tickets from this web site you are agreeing that you have read and understood all of the The Bushcraft Show's 2012

The ticket is not refundable and is for your own personal use only and may not be transferred or resold to any other person. The Bushcraft Show reserves the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person whom they reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout.

Unlawful resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.

A ticket shall not be used for any alternative use (such as advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes), unless formal written permission is given by The Bushcraft Show.

It is your responsibility to check your tickets; mistakes cannot always be rectified.

Tickets are sold subject to the The Bushcraft Show’s right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

It is your responsibility to ascertain whether The Bushcraft Show has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If the show is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders. We do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.

The venue reserves the right to refuse admission/ remove any person should they breach any Rules and Regulations stipulated by The Bushcraft Show. In the interests of security the organisers reserve the right to search handbags, rucksacks, parcels, luggage etc. and also to institute personal body searches.

The sponsors and the organisers of The Bushcraft Show cannot and will not accept any financial or other responsibility for any loss or liability incurred as a result of:

  • contracts entered into by visitors or those connected with them, with any exhibitor, or advice sought or obtained from any exhibitor
  • or any damage to or loss of visitor’s property whilst at The Bushcraft Show or
  • death or personal injury caused to any visitor whilst at The Bushcraft Show insofar as this arises out of their negligence.

Dogs are permitted at The Bushcraft Show but must be kept on a lead at all times when within the showground and camping areas. There are acres of public access woodland and open space outside of these areas in which dogs can be exercised. The owner of any dog causing concern to the organisers will be asked to remove the dog from the Showground and the organisers decision in such instances is final. Without prior written permission directly from the organisers; other animals are not admitted onto the venue. Please contact SO Publications Ltd. The taking of photographs during the event for sale or reward is strictly prohibited except without the prior written consent of the organisers, and the organisers reserve the right at their absolute discretion to confiscate any such articles for infringement of this condition.

Visitors are not entitled to promote a business or sell products at the show unless they are exhibiting at the show with a trade stand booked through the organisers. Anyone found in breach of this will be asked to cease trading and may be asked to leave the event. Note: While every care has been taken to ensure that the information contained in this website is both accurate and up-to-date The Bushcraft Show and Shark Designs do not accept any liability to any party for loss or damage incurred by reliance placed on the information contained in this website or through omission or errors, how so ever caused. The Bushcraft Show and Shark Designs reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions and it is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to check them on a regular basis.

All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any disputes arising out of any transaction with the organisers are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
