The Mora – Leather Woodcarving Knife Sheath (106 & 120) has been exclusively made by Shark Designs to custom fit the Mora Woodcarving Knife 106 and the Mora Woodcarving Knife 120, replacing the very basic plastic sheaths that are sold with these lovely woodcarving knives.
The sheath is hand-made from the very best grade 3.5mm vegetable-tanned leather that has been fully ‘Saddle’ stitched. Hand-sewing all of the seams with a ‘Saddle’ stitch ensures that they are not only aesthetically pleasing, but incredibly strong - very much stronger than anything that is machine stitched.
Each of these high quality friction fit sheaths has been made with an integral thick, hardened, leather ‘Welt’, which prevents the knife’s cutting edge from slicing in to the stitching and sides as it is unsheathed and sheathed. The Shark Designs – ‘Mora’ Leather Knife Sheath is a custom designed top grade 3.5mm vegetable-tanned leather sheath that is fully hand-made. It is exclusively made to replace the very basic plastic sheaths that are sold with most of the Mora knives. All of the seams are completely hand-sewn with what is called a ‘Saddle’ stitch, which is incredibly strong form of stitching, and much stronger than anything that is machine stitched.
The Shark Designs – ‘Mora’ Leather Knife Sheath has a thick, hardened, leather ‘Welt’ as an integral part of its design, so that the sheath has much more rigidity and structural strength. The Medium - 'Possibles' Pouch (Gold) is a beautiful, top quality, intermediate sized, pouch that is made from soft supple vegetable tanned leather hide. It has two Latigo leather lace drawstrings that pull in opposite directions providing fast, secure, non-slip fastening that will prevent items placed in it from fall out.
The pouch is large enough to get your whole hand into it, so it can hold a lot of useful small items, such as Pens, Matches, Lighters, Coins and Notes etc, or a couple of larger items such as Tinderboxes, Cameras, Mobile Phones, Wallets, Purses, Glasses, Survival and First Aid Kits etc.

This medium sized Hard Leather ‘Possibles’ Pouch is hand-made from the finest quality 3.5mm (1/8 Inch +/-) thick vegetable tanned leather and held closed by two MOD grade Press Studs. The leather belt loops on the rear of this great little pouch, allow it to be securely attached to a 1 1/2-inch leather belt. The internal dimensions measure approximately 150mm (6-inches) by 32mm (1 1/4-inces) by 95mm (3 3/4-inches).

This 'Full-Buckle’ - Classic ‘306’ is made from a single piece of the finest quality 1 ½-inch wide and 3.5mm (+/-) thick, vegetable tanned, soft, supple leather and has a top quality full buckle, '586’, that is made from solid brass.
Unlike the ‘101’ belt that has the buckle attached to the belt by three solid copper rivets, the buckle on the Classic ‘306’ is hand stitched in place using the traditional ‘Double Handed Saddler’s Stitch’, which is usually only ever used on high quality products. The inspired by the 'Shire Horse' Harness Strap, which was made so that a huge, 17-hands, Shire horse that could pull a fully loaded cart, the Bushcraft Belt – ‘801’ is most definitely built to be very strong and durable. It was designed to bridge the gap between work wear clothing and casual wear clothing, yet be strong enough for the former and stylish enough for the latter.
The top grade leather used in this great belt is strong enough to be used as an emergency lashing, yet is soft and smooth enough to be used as a razor strop whilst out in the woods. We were asked by members of the Fire Brigade to produce an exceptional quality leather belt that would be suitable for use on a professional basis. This was a task that we could not refuse, so we based our design based on the toughest strap that we could find. Luckily, for use, the problems of strength and durability had been worked of hundreds of years before in the form of the traditional 'Shire Horse' Harness Strap. Taking this tried and tested technology as our design inspiration we produced the Professional Belt – ‘911’.
For traditional 'Shire Horse' harness straps to perform properly they needed to be incredibly strong, built to take the stresses and strains of a huge, 17-hands, Shire horse. When a horse of this size is pulling a fully loaded cart it is imperative that the straps and other tack be strong, so that it will not break under load. With this in mind we made the belt from a single piece of the finest quality 1 ½-inch wide, 4.5 to 5mm thick, hot oil dipped, bridle 'Butt' leather and added a genuine, heavy-duty, 'West End Roller', solid brass, buckle. To fully take advantage of the superior quality of the leather and the solid brass buckle, we needed to use the strongest form of stitching that there is. So we only ever use the traditional ‘Double Handed Saddler’s Stitch’ so that we can ensure that the belt is made to the highest standards.
These clean, functional belts are made in black or dark brown leather so that they can be worn as part of a formal, or work-wear, professional uniform.

The ‘Professional’ - 911 - 134 Belt is handmade from a single piece of the finest quality Full-Grained 1 ¾-inch wide, 5mm (+/-) thick, hot oil dipped, Bridle Butt leather. It has heavy-duty, Solid Brass, ‘Head Collar Roller' buckle and comes complete with two hand stitched leather loops to hold the loose end of the belt whilst it is being worn. It is one of the toughest wearing ‘Professional’ belts on the market.

In order to make a belt that is worthy of being used by Bushcraft & Survival Enthusiasts, Police and Fire Brigade Personnel, we construct each ‘Professional’ - 911 - 134 Belt as if were to be used as a Harness-Strap, pulling cart by a huge 17-hands Shire horse. The leather has been treated so that it is soft and supple, yet still retains all of the strength that is associated with the best part of a leather hide - the Butt. The leather is hot oil dipped so that it will significantly increase its lifespan, retain its strength and not dry out over time. The edges have all been rounded off to prevent Chafing when worn next to the skin and the Buckle has been Hand-Stitched to the belt with the leather buckle loop facing outwards so that the interior of the belt remains continuously smooth for greater comfort. The extra width of this belt, enables you to attach Belt Loops, ‘Possibles’ Pouches, Sheathes etc for carrying heavier essential equipment that is needed for prompt use.
