These high quality, heavy knitted, Thermal Hat/Scarves are made twice the normal length of other similar soft knitted hats, so that they can be worn as either a Thermal Hat or as a Thermal Scarf.

When the Thermal Hat/Scarf it is worn as a hat, the extra length is folded inside on itself to form a double-wall thickness, soft hat for extra heat retention on cold winter days. Since a great proportion of your body heat is lost through the head, having a double-walled thickness hat means that less heat is lost from your head reducing the risk of hypothermia by keeping the heat where it should be. If the hat’s rim is turned down it can be pulled over the ears, keeping them comfortably warm and snug without muffling sound quality.

When worn as a Scarf the double-wall hat is pulled apart, to unfold a double-wall thickness Scarf that is approximately 560mm (22-Inches) long.
